Default Magnum Model Availbilty VERY IMPORANT!

Magnum people, a while back I let you know I had the possibility to have models built of all past 27-28 ft designs.and were to be approximate 85-90cm,3.5 ft long.I received a good response from you..At that time 6 requested the Sport, 6 the Maltese, and 3 Starfires. There were a few Sedan's, but I decided to wait until we seen the finished product before we looked into the Starfire & Sedan production.
However, he has come back and requested approval to produce 15 0f each model at a time so he can start production in two weeks and complete them soon.
Before I commit to this request, I need to get a final tally on the Sport and the Maltese numbers, and I will need a deposit of $325 from everyone who wants one built.
I then will go back to him and try to see if he will agree to produce the smaller number of two models.d
Pricing, we hope it will come in at around $1,000 the cigarette model was sold I understand. around $2,500

NEED REPLY FROM YOU QUICKLY OR I WILL HAVE TO CANCEL PM me or [email protected]

Interesting to see if this goes through. I just read the whole article on the 28001 Magnum. And local to me.

I have canceled the Magnum boat project because of insufficient interest for these models of the Magnums. It did not materialize as I had hoped from our 1st discussion.Lots of research went into acquiring original drawings from Magnum.Maybe some day down the line, but not now. Sorry guys

Bud,
Sorry to hear you had to cancel this. I would love to have a model of my Magnum, but The well at the house has gone up and that is ton of money that has to go out before I can lay out money for this. Hopefully it will come around again.
Thanks for everything.
Tom

What would it take to get a set of drawings? It would be cool to build a model from them someday, but just having them to frame and hang on the wall would be cool also .

It's not Magnum and it's not you either Bud. I thank you for alot of your input and keeping Magnum alive as all of us Magnum lovers would agree. Like any other boat builder, people want to see a boat, they want to take a ride and see how the boat runs and reacts. It's not anything other then that. It's no secret I am attempting to build a new boat as well but I know I need to build it, show it, and hope that I made the correct changes to make it a got to have item. I hope you and I come up with a Magnum remake. I think it will be a hot item if we actually do it

I have tried to get him to build one of either boat, Sport or Maltese. He won't consider it due to time and no profit in it for him.I understand...someday I will have the funds to move forward again, not now.
