Merc Smartcraft mpg... U.S. or Imperial?
#1
Pretty simple question if you know the answer but I don't.
I have a full complement of Smartcraft gauges and pick up gps from my Raymarine plotter. Tachos all show gph and speedo will give me mpg. I am assuming this is imperial miles and not nautical miles (knots) but the gallons, is that U.S. gallons or imperial gallons?
Can't find anything in the manuals or setup to help me.

Being the main base of manufacturing is within the U.S, Merc rates their specs in U.S Gallons and offers metric liters too.
