At what point do you go all in and decide to part out a boat, no matter if it's in great condition or not? My heart says don't tear apart something you put a ton of money, blood, sweat, and time into but bottom line is that I will NEVER get back what I put into it and I have gotten zero bites with it priced as low as I am willing to let it go for whole. I did some quick math and know I can make more by taking the time and parting it but I am having a hard time pulling that trigger.

Why did you do all that work then pay a thread about ho much you love it, now it's for sale and maybe getting parted?

Because life circumstances change. Two years ago when I started that project things were much different than they are now. Trust me, I am torn on what to do and if I don't do anything that's ok too. I do love the boat, that's the biggest problem.

Another option is to get good down payment and finance the balance. Most banks are not fianceing used boats

Never. I can see getting a down payment and the first time out the guy hits bottom and blows two motors while his friends spill red wine all over my white upholstery and puke in my cabin. Then they pull it out of the water and cut the corner too sharp and hit a telephone pole with the trailer smashing the hull and ripping all three axles off of the trailer. I have bad luck already, not going to compound that. 70K down payment and you owe me 5K tomorrow before I hand you the keys.

Man I'd hate to see that nice of a boat not live on. i think you'd have no problems selling the engines and drives. Trips are always a tougher sell. Might be some folks out there looking tor a hull to drop their big power in and convert it to twins.

Timing is everything, and right now i s a buyers market, end of season and all. If no interest late winter or spring then maybe. I'd have a tough time parting after all the work and cash put in.

Damn I'd hate to see that boat get parted.
