Check with a meter and see if you have 12-13 vdc on the center post of switch to ground,............with the batteries on

the power and ground wires "should" be connected to the middle posts on the switch....then the 4 outer posts are crisscrossed together.....so the top right corner is connected to the bottom left corner and same for the other side.....and the hatch motor should be connected to either the two top or two bottom posts......Now i have seen different setups where the hatch motor is hooked to the middle posts and the power/ground are crisscrossed on the switch posts. Easiest way to check this would be a volt meter on the power/ground to verify you have juice.....then unhook the hatch motor and wire it direct to see if it runs without the switch......i just remembered i have a picture .....hope this helps you.
