With only a couple boats able to make the run to Faro Blanco this weekend we decided to make another change and just do a local run. We will meet at the Sanibel bridge for an 11:00 departure for Cayo Costa beach raft up. Feel free to e mail or post on OSO if you can make it. Weather looks great with sunny skies and high in the low 80s.

We are adding an additional run on December 10th to Venetian Village. Please see updated schedule below.

Event #1 – Saturday October 22nd. Cayo Costa beach raft up

Event #2-Saturday December 10th. Fun run to Venetian Village in Naples

Event #3 – Saturday November 26th. Thanksgiving weekend fun run to Harpoon Harry’s . (Designated fund raising event)

Event #4 – Friday December 30th. New years fun run to C.J.s on the bay, in esplanade complex, Marco Island. (Designated fund raising event)

Event #5 – Saturday January 28th. TBD

Event #6 – Saturday March 4th. Fun run to Burnt Store Marina. Lunch on the deck at Cass Cay

Event #7 – Friday March 31-Sunday April 2. Weekend run to the Hyatt in Sarasota.

Event #8-Saturday April 15th. Beach raft up at Cayo Costa

With 15 to 20 knot winds out of the NW kicking up the open area of the Gulf between Marco and Sanibel Bridge it is unlikely that I will be able to make this run. I will see what it is like in the morning and make a decision. Everyone from the Cape Coral / Ft Myers area will be just fine as Sanibel and Captiva Islands will protect you from the exposure.
