I have an older MSD 6M-2 box with no rev limiter installed. I would like to install a MSD 6M-2L with the built in rev limiter. Is the wiring plug & play between the 6M-2 and 6M-27?

Do a search on web for those 2 models wiring diagram and you will see how to wire and if any differences,

I have looked at the online manuals. They look identical. The pictures that MSD has on their website make them look different. Someone else has to have real experience with this.

if they are both marine ones yes, the marine and the auto ones are different
