It doesn't make sense. A lot of times we blame the cost of the engines and drives but the 400R retails for $31,000 so the total powertrain cost on this boat is $124,000 retail and maybe 100g manufacturer cost.

There is alot of gadgets and gizmos on these newest boats. There is an mti down here with an imax sized garmin. All that new technology is super expensive, you never see one built with old electronics. That's alot of the cost as well.

On the engine front... mostly 400rs now. Saw one with a row of 627s...

Not cheap.

I'd say you have a point, only problem is that they are selling like hot cakes. Supply and demand. So many on the water, and look at poker runs. They are popular. Look at the price of wakeboats.

I saw a 53' Hydrasports Suenos with 4 Seven Marines on the back at 2016 Miami show.....1.4 mm..............

it's more of the bells and whistles then the power.

those things prob have 3x the electronics and toys of your normal closed bow performance boat.

Yes they had 3 at fort Lauderdale show, and 3 with 400r's. All sold crazy.
