Default Steel Tower for Bravo1

Does anyone know where I can find steel towers, for a Bravo1 upgrade, on the aftermarket?

Max Machine works, I was talking to my engine builder and he was getting set up by MMW to re-build drives and be able to install their tower and components in his shop. This way he would not have to send the drives to Arizona. Check with Jason.

Thanks Ray, but I already checked with them. Their modifications are very good, very extensive, and very expensive. I was looking for a standard length threaded steel tower. That would hold up in the event of gear failure. I have installed a few of the Merc units, but you can't buy them new anymore.

Sun28, thanks! I replied to your PM.

Question

Do you mean you machined the standard bravo aluminum tower housing to accept the screw-in steel sleeves? Just curious.

Rhino, yea. Just used an end mill and plunge-cut the tower down then bored and threaded with a 1 5/8 x 16 tap.

John, If you can come up with a print, I have the capability to make them.

Sorry I missed you again this week. I was all over the east coast again and only in your area 1 night and had to take some customers out. Back in a few weeks.

Good deal Tom, I will try to get to a computer with auto-cad next week and shoot you a drawing. The ones I have appear to be made out of 4130, and I have two more uppers in line waiting for steel towers.
