Default Globe Blue Impeller for Bravo

I've read posts about how good the Globe Blue impellers are.
My question is;when old the impellar is changed out does it take
a "set" like the Merc does? What I mean is the impeller curved to the shape of the pump or does it retain it's original shape?
Also what is the Part# for Globe Blue to fit Bravo?
Thanx

I ran same Merc blacks for three years no problem changed to Globe oil temp went up 10 degrees and had one fail in three months back to black.
If I remember right alot of members noticed a rise in temp with the Globe

I haven’t taken mine out yet, so I don’t know if they take a set or not. As for temps, mine did go up slightly at first. Then I changed my worn pump housings and a bad thermostat, and my temps have been 160-170 all summer from idle to wot. That’s with stock 1989 7.4L/Bravos. Maybe they can’t keep up with the more exotic motors. I’m pretty sure the model # is 2000. Go to www.boatfix.com and give George a call. He’d probably know if they take a set or not too. I changed to them because my pumps are a bear to get to (2 hour job at least, with lots of swearing) and I’ve been known to run thru a little sand here and there. Knowing how the merc black ones shredded and lost most of the vanes last time, I’d at least check mine, or even replace them, yearly if I ever went back to them.

Im on my second year with one engine on merc and the other on the globe, both had new housings and I also see lots of sand. The globe is on the higher hp engine (dont ask). So far they run the same and I will look at them again when I get the engines out this fall. The globe did not show a set when I checked it last winter.
