Default Locktight or not

What are the thoughts on locktight on engine assembly. Not dressing but assembly/rocker stud bolts/nuts?

Only spots I would even consider would be flywheel bolts to crank And camshaft bolts. And that would be about it.

I used to use locktight on the rocker arm studs but never on the nuts. ( never had one come loose.) I used it on the flywheel to crank and the flywheel to the coupler bolts and also on the cam bolts. But that is about it. I have heard of people using it on just about every bolt. But keep in mind IF you use it on a bolt or nut that has to be torqued it has to be torqued right away and can not be re torqued later.

I also used it on main studs but not on the head studs because You had to use thread sealant on the holes that went into the water jacket.

Use it on Cam Bolts , Flywheel Bolts , Damper Bolt . The cam bolt is the only internal bolt that I would use it on. Thats why we have Torque Specs !
I use Blue on the bracketry for the accessories to prevent loosening from the vibration.
