Thumping idle

Thumping idle
I have a pair of 496 mercruisers. One engine after warming up, especially on return in low power/idle in gear thumps or skips a beat. I suspect a bad IAC from rockauto. Performance seems fine. No issue when first started. Any thoughts??

It could be. Do you have a access to a Rinda scanner? There is a full scope IAC test that you can run with a scanner.
