Its great to see this father and son Team of RUFSTER along with all the other Teams competing in this great sport, we need more of this to really show the real extent of what it really takes to be an Offshore Powerboat Racing Team. Great job and look forward to seeing more in the future.

Class 5 is speed bracketed at 75mph. (Single engine 30' and under boats with some exceptions. There are Afew twin engine boats that are grandfathered in) You can pretty much run any configured engine you choose. Some run 525s with some good success (old factory 1 boats) but most run some form of a custom engine. Rufster runs a Saris racing engine and I don't want to speak for them but I'm pretty sure it's more hp then a 525 lol.
