I used mineral oil on dads egg harbor and my whaler that had matching teak cockpit.
Bleach and a brass brush to clean, mineral oil to coat it. Only use a brass brush! Any type of steel will drop bristles that will rust next week

Old timer many years ago told me transmission Fluid. I have never tried it so can not say how good or bad it would be to use.

The trans fluid works. Mix it about half with engine oil or to desired color.

My pap always used motor oil, when dad told me that I laughed but it works. Just get anew oil for the wood to absorb to keep it from absorbing the water
