[sub] i only have 11 #s for a hin. Serial # for hull
i have a 1989 donzi black widow . I am having problems registering in texas !!!!
Can someone help me with this ??? Trying to find more #s ??
Also there is no previous repair on transom !!!
Trying to get down in engine bay is very hard !!! Not sure where to look ????

Law states after 1972 the HIN is permanently affixed to the rear of the transom usually on the upper right corner. So its not inside the engine room, it has to be on the rear of the hull. If someone added an extended swim platform or ladder, it may have covered it up

Some boats have a second set in cockpit my boat does.
My friend had problems like that once stamped a aluminum plate with zeros in front to get the number count he needed

Does it have a Title from another state???
Was it ever USCG documented???

What is the HIN ??
