I know NADA will pull values on a lot of these performance boats, but the NADA values seem to be dramatically lower than seller asking prices. Do you guys even pay attention to what the NADA is? Does it matter at all? Any valuation websites besides NADA? And also, are there any resources for a "history report" for boats that people actually use and matter? Like a CarFax or Autocheck, but for boats?

It's real simple. People who own em think they are worth more. People trying to buy wanna pay less. The nada is generally a good starting point. Many banks use it for loan value so it has some validity. Use it as a starting point and go from there

You've got that right. I'm looking at 2003-2007 Sunsation 288 MCOB's, and people are asking $45-55K when NADA says $25-35K. Anyone know how much a 288 MCOB with 496HO would've been when new? I think $55K is way, way too much for a 10-year old boat with 200-400 hours on it. Then again, I know people are more willing to negotiate on boats.
