Arneson Drive traits

Was thinking about Arnesons and was wondering about any drawbacks versus standard drives with regards to handling, turning, trimability, do they stay hooked up in rough water or any weird traits. Thanks for the input.

This is not the sentiment that my customers express. Quite the opposite as we have more mechanical leverage and the larger diameter propellers bite better and the transmission doesn't clunk into gear like the I/O's do.
Seems misnomers are hard to let go on the internet.

I have the arneson conversion kits and the only big difference i have encountered is the time it takes for my boat to plane off when it is dead calm compared to the bravo's other than that no draw backs
