Default Outdrive Rebuild

Can anyone recommend a shop to do a rebuild on a TCM Platinum XR drive in the Northern Illinois area?

New to the area and would greatly appreciate the referrals.

Shoot a PM to "boatfreak" here on OSO, and find out who his guy is in Indianapolis. I'm told he does fantastic work, and worth the drive.

I'd take it to Dick Trice. I drove from cleveland to his place and I'm sure glad I did.

He also has a stellar reputation here on OSO over the years. I didn't realize he's in MI though.
It's worth traveling for quality, especially on that caliber drive. You many even find someone who offers a warranty.

He built the drive complete for my Daytona.
I will never forget when he said " You didn't tell me you were building a 598"
I have never been easy on an engine or drive.

You may consider Keith Bromelcamp at Water and Wheels he's located in Ingleside on Rt. 59 just south of Rollins. I have used him in the past with great success. 847-973-9085

Stellar guy as well. I've never met him, but he's a consummate business man.
He had the exact same car as my Mother, and would let her drive his while he was fixing hers. This was before she passed, and she lived up alone, up there near him. I found him via OSO recommendations as well.

I highly recommend Fever Marine just south of Indy. Tom has done an awesome job for me on my drives and with 700 hp in front of them I've not had a failure since I started using him. 317-878-7780.
