I don't see it as "fake news," a term coined for news stories create to deliberately mislead. It's just incorrect. Rumors are just rumors, and while sometimes they turn out to be correct they should not be reported—at least in media—unless they're verified as facts. But I don't see any malice or evil intent in any of this. Just error.

I knew an announcement would have to be made by Mercury. I just didn't expect it within 24 hous.
