Default Looking to replace Stainless Marine manifolds with headers

I bought a boat that has SM gen3 manifolds on it and would like to replace them with headers. It has a set of custom tails built for it and I don't want to have new ones made. Is there a direct replacement header that I can use with my existing tails?

No there are no headers that you can use your current tails with. They will work on one thing only- SM3 manifolds. If you are running a blown engine you will gain nothing by switching to headers. I was talking to a friend of mine that has a shop that builds a lot of high HP blown engines and he said the only thing that might make more power than SM3'S in a blown application are big tube CMI's. This was proven over and over on the dyno. Even then the power increase is minimal and he never recommends stainless headers. Not worth the cost or the headaches.

Powder coat or good paint. Keep the hatch down and run. I mean run hard. Leaving your engine hatch open at a marina just leads to BS conversation and cuts into good drinking and booty time. Fk that.
