Out of hibernation! Miami Boat Show 2017, anyone?
After about 3 years of getting moved into "The House", I've dusted off the old keyboard to rejoin the wacky world of OSO.
Item #1 is a survey of who's going to the 2017 Miami Boat Show, and how to adapt to the new location in terms of hotels. I can't be there until some time Saturday, but have missed it for almost four years.
Anyone making the trip this year?

No more water shuttle from the beach. Stay downtown or close. If you stay on the beach garb Uber or a cab and head to the show OR to one of the water shuttle spots.

Can't make it this year, out of the country working, could really use some sunshine, it's stupid cold here! Someone post pics of the new Merc 500HP O/B please!

Last year the shuttles to the show were a cluster at best on Saturday. Ended up hopping on the bus from the AA arena to the show. Got lucky leaving the show and timed the water taxi just right, had a nice little sunset boat cruise featuring the miami skyline. Like everyone else is gonna say, get there early, you will need the time. We will be there on Friday this year.
