If he says he's busy, then I would say go elsewhere. He did a job for me and it was very nice work. It took a LONG time, but luckily it didn't matter because it was on a project boat and I was still busy with other things. Anymore, I would never just send existing pieces like that just because they could get lost or otherwise. Find someone with adobe illustrator and make and test your templates and send your file to whomever to have made. I think a lot of these guys will want the AI converted to DXF, but I think that is easily done.

I've got some stuff from him and his workmanship is first rate. He is worth waiting for provided his availability works with your deadlines.
