Hi guys. Curious if an of you have weighed your boat/trailer combos? I know I could take our (30' Tempest on a galvanized trailer with 2 OB) to a scale but it's winter and the weather is horrible here. Ours does not have a cabin but I can't imagine a cabin adds that much weight anyhow.
Thanks a bunch......john

Well, I'm kinda answering my own question. Turns out the old Superboat brochure I have states a 30' Tempest at 2500lbs. I figure my outboards at 600lbs a piece and then another 600 for misc "stuff" puts me at 4300 lbs. Maybe 2000 lbs for the trailer for a total of 6300 lbs. How does that jive with what you guys are assuming?

The weight on every boat is a little different. No matter what the weight it's lite for a 30ft boat. Say 2500 for the boat , V6 under 400 each , 80 gallons of fuel 600lbs . My aluminum trailer is 1100lbs

Thanks very much for the reply. That's more in line with what I was thinking as well. We have a couple V8 Johnshons on it which are a bit heavier and we have a bow ballast/fuel tank as well so we have a bit more BUT, shouldn't be a huge amount more. Take care and thanks again.....john
