Pulling a Big block out of a 26 foot Nova spyder a single thank god. My best guess is to leave the bellhouseing attached to the block.I pulled the outdrive off. am I headed in the right direction. Is it possible that a new fuel pump made in china Iboats.com. pumped the block full of fuel, the needle and seats did not do it are ther any other possibilts?.

look on the bellhousing, on each side you will see a big bolt. just pull those. when you pull the motor, keep track of the parts and the order, there will be a spacer a spring looming thing and a fiber washer. Do not loose those, and when it goes back together those need to be in the same spots.
For the front, there are a few different mounting styles, Im guessing being a wellcraft it has the pad type mounts wth 2 bolts holdng the "pad" down and one big threaded rod type deal sticking up from the middle on then"pad" that has a gig nut on each side of the front motor mount coming off the block. Undo the 2 bolts holding the pad down dont undo the 2 big nuts, It will make aligning the motor easier when you put it back in,
When it goes back in you will need a special tool to check the alingment. OSO member Whoya sells the tool on ebay pretty cheap. When you get to the alignment checking stage, we can walk you thru it, its really not difficult.
Also as you are unhooking things, unbolt the entire plate that the shifter cable mounts to instead f disconecting the cable.

Never heard of such thing. You have a return line going somewhere or something else going on here we don't know about. Fuel pumps have a rather simple. No regulatory? Something seems very oddly wrong.

john, some pumps are internally regulated to 8 lbs or less, some at 9 or more and require a regulator.
