Default Boat Prices In OSO Classifieds

I could not help but notice that the price of a boat that is advertised in OSO classifieds, is often listed at a higher price than it is on the dealers website, even those who advertise on OSO and not to mention boat trader, powerboat listings, Ect.

If dealers are pulling that crap then they should be called out by name ...

Go by the dealers main page ad.

The broker might have forgot to change one of many ads listed out there.....i really don't see the big deal. It's not like you now have to pay the OSO listed price cause that's the ad you saw. You would be paying what's listed on the brokers Web page.

Scott is a VERY stand up guy that has been at this for a long time. He is not out there trying to pull wool over your eyes

Are you speaking of new boats? If not I notice multiple prices on tons of everyday goods at different outlets, ie higher on ebay or amazon than a website, all by the same seller. Best bet is to exhaust your options of where the boat is posted, find the lowest and make an offer. I sell lots of items online through many different mediums, sometimes I forget to update them all, honest mistake.

It's easily explainable that the owner of a boat wants something moved and lowers the price and broker does so on there Web site and misses a location they advertise it.
Some brokerage people are shifty and you have to watch yourself I've dealt with a few different ones.
As far as Suncoast... I will tell you without a shadow of a doubt Scott the owner is a stand up awesome guy! Everything he talks about happens just as he says with no surprises at the end.
If you need a broker to buy or sell a boat this is the guy to use if you want a straight no hassle deal.

I did not want to single him out, it was just the first example I saw when looking, but I do see this often.

I believe a lot of dealers probably update their website ad and forget to change the price on their OSO ad.
