Default Best Place to Purchase Aftermarket Parts?

I'm looking to purchase a few things, specifically a set of CMI headers for a 496, a set of Livorsi gauges, possibly a set of K planes, and a few others things.

What vendors out there do you guys prefer to work with? Who has the best customer service/pricing/shipping?

Thanks in advance!

Diamond Performance, Eddie Marine, Livorsi, and Teague are all a click away.

To cover all of those bases, I'd go with http://www.cpperformance.com/ hands down. You can ask for Mike Mays, who is one of the owners, and can likely give you a good package deal.

Thank you. It looks like they have most everything I want as well.

When I buy new parts that arent readily avail on ebay etc , The first call I make is Bill at Diamond performance. He has always given me the best prices, gotten me stuff quick and never have had the slightest problem. The only time I would call anywhere else was if he didnt have it/coudnt get it.

BTW, Bill, I need a couple gaffrig gauges, 0-15 boost and oil pressure, both the big size carbon faces and chrome fat rings.....

Bill Naumann at Diamond Performance Parts. Real straight shooter. Good prices.

Unless you want them for looks or NEED them because of motor mods, the headers are a complete waste of money.

CMIs are not going to make a 496 perform any better, if it were me I would save the money. Actually looking at your want list that is going to be $7k plus, might look at buying a different boat.

Looks are one factor, but they would be going on a fresh, fully forged 496 based motor with a Whipple (motor has quite a few other mods as well).

I figured the stock manifolds were starting to get a little restrictive at this point.

The early stock aluminum manifolds are very nice and would work well on a blown 496. I put CMIs on a stock 496 HO and saw ZERO performance gain in any area. That's where these guys are coming from. $4,000 thrown away. All the vendors listed on this thread are good. Amazon and eBay are good sometimes but I wouldn't buy exhaust there.
