Did any of those boats come with big blocks? Not trying to burst your bubble but if you end game is SPEED, that hull is NOT going to yield great results.

Yes they did come with big blocks. 365s if i remember correctly. 73ish mph as opposed to 57ish with 350s.

That one heavy boat so as long as it is still solid I would think what every you had to spend, but at some point that boat will only go so fast.

I remember when century brought are old 26 Monza design to the Powerboat test with twin 365 mags.

Thing got so out of shape at any speed above 70 that they gave up on trying to clock a top speed and said Century needed to go back to the drawing board .

I would think you would want to install external steering/drives/props/engines to build a safe usable package. Plan a budget, and in the end it will be double the dollars you figured and the boat will go 1/2 as fast as you calculated. Welcome to modifying a boat.
