I think I have both oil filter mounting positions. one mounts the oil filter upside down and the other mount is standard . I understand the Merc part number you posted is for the upside down oil filter mount but want to ask which one would work better for you ? Standard oil filter mount or upside down oil filter mount ?

It's the upside down type that I need. One that mounts filter to the accessory bracket as opposed to the exhaust riser . I can order new locally as well but I was looking for a deal on a used one.
