Default What Brand of Trailer Tires is Everyone Running

I know this has probably been discussed many times over but after a quick search I didn't find anything real recent. What brand, are you running trailer or LT tires and why?

Thanks
Eric

IF trailer tires are you preference, go with Maxxis D or E rated. If you are forced to run 14 or 15 wheels, this is your BEST option.

IF you can run 16" wheels, go with LT tires, namely Goodyear Wrangler HT or FireStone TransForce HT.

Remember, the bigger you go, the better. (Notice, I said bigger, not heavier.) Bigger diameter wheels and tires means less rotations, which means less heat. Heat is your enemy when it comes to trailer tires. Some folks have gone to G-rated REALLY heavy duty trailer tires; but I feel like the weight of these is detrimental to the "typical" trailer axle they are not designed to be attached to that much rotating mass.

LT tires, factory supplied by Manning. Buddy of mine has a new Myco, it came with LTs also.

I stayed with Goodyear Marathons but went bigger and higher load rating than what came from factory.

I have had good luck with the 15" Good Year Marathons. Worst enemy is lack of use. On my 16"wheels I use General LT. Lack of use doesn't seem to hurt them.

What hurts them is when the load rating is insufficient and they flex constantly.
