I'll admit I'm not an experienced race watcher, not on TV a whole lot and they do t get up to WI often..., but that looked like a crummy move miss gieco put on cms in the first race. Anyone know if they were fined for it?

Clean turn IMO. You cant expect any team to give any room to a boat on the inside if you are in the lead and making a controlled turn. Running fast and throwing your boat in a turn should never be considered as owning the turn IMO. The lead boat going into the turn controls the turn. A dive in does not give you the right to own the line. IMO

Yes they received a 2 min penalty.

We received a 1 minute penalty, and I would make that move again, Nobody has adequately explained to me what we did wrong
