Nothing on the shelves anymore. You're going to need a local canvas shop. Give XT Innovations a try though.

Thanks, will do...

I was hoping someone may have one from a parted boat - I'll still keep the feelers out in case someone has something hanging around, otherwise I'll have to have one made... Bummer

Careful if the replacement has snaps already installed. Evidently Baja did not use a pattern and the snaps, at least on the fiberglass, are not installed in a specific location. It was more or less up to the rigger doing the installation. Perhaps Taylor Made did a better job on the windshield snaps. In any event, best to get one without snaps if possible and install them to match your boat when you get the cover.

Incorrect. The windshield snaps are moveable and a non issue. Taylor Made is irrelevant.

My covers fit both my 1996 and 2000 272s with no issues.

What's incorrect?

The cockpit covers don't use snaps on the windshield.....but the snaps installed on the gel coat do not match the NOS (originally from Baja stock) cover he bought that had snaps already installed on it. The cover was shipped and the snap locations did not match. That is a fact.

Edit: the cover in question is for the bow section on a 252 islander. Maybe the actual cockpit snaps did follow a pattern. I've never tried someone else's cover on my boat to verify. I am surprised your snaps lined up perfect on boats Baja built 4 years apart.
