So I bought a 25 outlaw with a 496ho, cmi headers, and whipple tune.
Now why I didn't even check what he had on for a prop size is beyond me. But anyways it is a 29p bravo 1. I took it out on the lake when I got home and with 4 people it struggled to get on plane without everyone standing up leaning forward. With 3 people and 3/4 tank of gas I got 62.4mph on gps and it could only turn that prop to 4550 rpms.
What would you guys recomeend for an all around prop and a top speed prop? And any idea what I could get out this boat reguarding those numbers I posted above?
Also only reason I could see him having a 29p bravo 1 was because there was either a charger on there before or he wanted to keep another prop and he just threw this on one there to get rid of it.

If its a 29 Bravo then its already Merc labbed. oNly Merc labbed Bravo's come in odd pitch's. It will spin a little more rpm than a stock 28.
You might be able spin a labbed 26 Bravo to 5000+ rpms.
Fastest top end will probably be 25 Mirage Plus. Bravo prop will be better for normal use.
