Ya, I've stopped transporting at least for now. Not closing the door on it forever but my other business has really grown and things have gotten busy enough that it wasn't hard to talk myself into sleeping at home every night. Also between insurance costs and dealing with all the DOT bs it's really becoming less and less worth even doing when you are doing it all 100% legit. Big thanks to OSO for all the great people I've met and the transport jobs that originated here. I still lurk here pretty much every day and questioned my thought process a few times this winter when I knew it was likely I could have been in south FL wearing shorts and flip flops but instead I was in New England wearing boots and thermals.
