Lime green Magnum 27 Sport?
#1
I've got an early 70's 27 Sport ( probably a '73) that has been painted maroon with a black boot stripe. The boat was originally lime green....had Florida tags at some point. I sanded some paint off the sides and there's no name. Long shot, but does anyone remember a boat like this? Any history would be great....lime was not a very common color.

Aaron good luck with your search sorry I can't help, but are there any grease pen markings (under the deck) to identify hull #'s
With those atleast you might know who purchased the sport from the factory...........maybe a point to start at.

Chartreuse was originally a Volvo outdrive Mag Gil Lieber converted it to Trs drives around 1975 covering the large Volvo cutouts with a stainless steel plate. Gil raced it as Chartreuse & after he sold it it became Wishing Well still in it's Chartreuse color. By the late 70's it changed it's color to brown & white & became BONANZA after the sponsors Steak house. Once again it was sold & it received a new color Silver & white & that's how it looks today with it's latest owner in Algonac Mi. This mag still sports it's very loud Wolverine aluminum dry exhaust pipes & chickin bar cockpit cage as it did when it raced.
