Hi,
I changed my injectors to Bosch EV14 and my injector retainer clips don't fit on those. The original injectors had kind of "full round" seat for the injector retainer clip so the injector turned 360 in its seat with the clip installed, but the EV14 they kind of have only two cuts on the opposite sides for the retainer clip. So now the injector only have two possible positions. For my fuel rail these cuts align in a way that if I install the retainer clips the connector goes directly under the rail and it is impossible to connect the electronic connector on it.
in the picture you see my fuel rail. Above there are my original injectors and you migh be able to see the clips as they slide in along the rail.

The new injector:

The old injector:

So the question is do I need to use the retainer clips cause how I understand it the injector remains correctly seated when the rail is bolted?
Thanks
