Any of the saltwater guys have to replace their MPI intake manifolds due to the aluminum erroding?

Was rebuilding my over-heated motor, when I noticed the intake was destroyed where at the back block off area. Ended up replacing it, but wondering what my other motor looks like.

Is this repairable? A 20 yr old used manifold was cheap at $1000. Hardly a cheap fix though, wondering if I can send te other one somewhere for a lest costly repair.
