Default Manually open engine hatches

Does anyone know how to manually open the power hatches on a 10 meter fountain? Have power but hatches will not open. I pulled the hinge pins but still cannot manually open the hatches. Has electric gear drive rams. Please help.

Try putting 12v of power directly to the back of the hatch switch.

So the hatch switch only handles hot? Neg is taken care of grounding hatch motor to neg-block-ground under hatch? Not some kind of double pole switch for reversing motor direction?

That boat has split hatches right.
Because both are no go than it is a lack of power problem or bad ground.
Check to see if you have power to ground on both sides of the switch with it in the up position. If no than jumper from the hot leg to either of the other IF it is a single up/down switch. If still nothing happens than you probably have a bad ground.

Looks like most are 2 wire systems. Switch polarity to switch direction. So 1 wire has to have 12v pos. Other to neg. Easiest to set a battery or jump box down next to you under boat dash and try diff combos.
