What is your preferred exhaust manifold gasket for Aluminum manifolds? Picked up some EMI manis and the gaskets that came with are junk.

Agreed and even use them for stock apps black side and Volvo's, indmar and so forth

Rim flex

Its ^^^^^ remflex ^^^^^ and yes will agree there as well. The Merc / gils on the hp 500 would warp and we would use remflex.

Thought I was getting hazed "rim flex". I'll check them out. The top deck is 1" from the manifolds on each side. Once this engine goes in, we can't take manifolds off unless we lift the motor.
