98 and up. I would like to be under $40,000.00 I might even consider a nice 27

Stay with the 29. It's better balanced and as fast or faster than a 27 with the same power and the 27s chine walk in the low 80s although can drive through it. Also 29s holds more fuel. 27s have short legs with the smaller tank. Liked my 27 but if I had it to do over it would have been. 29.

I have had a '27 for 13 years. A great lake boat. Holds 60 gallons. I usually fill it up 3 or 4 times a season.
