Default key west super boats for a disabled vet

Hello

My husband is a Disabled Navy Veteran ( submarine service ) and a long time boat lover. For a surprise I have arranged for us to be in Key West for the Super Boat Races / Poker run in November, he thinks we are going to Disney World:.

We are on a limited budget so is there any hints you can give about the best paces to watch the races and see the boats? Yes I know the keys are very expensive and Im just trying to make plans that can fit our budget.

Does he still have military ID? That would save a lot of money in KW and stay on base at the BOQ or base hotel on one of the bases.

SSN 575 Seawolf,
SSN 683 Parche,
special projects boats or something. Machinist Mate. He was involved in a few fires underway and mess up his lungs

I already have a place to stay and transportation is taken care. Im trying to keep it a surprise so trying to do any thing through the VA or military would give it away.

Thanks for the response through, greatly appreciated .

Somebody on here that knows they are going to be there needs to step up and take these people out for a day. There will be a ton of new CCs that are as big as a bus down there and you can't get a better seat than that.

I reserved a table for Sunset Pier at Ocean Key, which is a great place to watch the races. We are HUGE supporters of our military and you and your husband are more than welcome to joins us for all three race days. Please feel free to PM me so we can work out the logistics.

I totally respect the way Americans are very patriotic and especially thoughtful with veterans affairs. What a generous offer, I hope this fits in and you guys can all hook up even if it's only for an hour or two.

Good for you 'GF'.
