The sales team is having a record year selling boats! Has your boat been listed with another broker without success? Are you a private seller not willing to take a trade? Not sure where to advertise your boat? If you answered yes to any of the above, call Performance Boat Center! We have buyers waiting, possibly for the boat you're trying to sell. WE NEED LISTINGS!!

From my experience (granted, not in the U.S.) it doesn't really matter how much they charge but more importantly, can they find a buyer at a good price. Brokers I've sold through have always negotiated their commission slightly when a very close offer is on the table. Not sure if that's a 'no-no' in America but where I've sold in Australia and in Thailand, a little commission adjustment has certainly helped to close a deal.

Pwraddr, we charge 10% of final sale price. If needed, I've given up some commission to put a deal together. Most of something is always better than all of nothing!
Mseuro, I need to have access to the boat, long distance brokerage just doesn't work.
