Hey guys as the title says I'm curious if it will fit. I found a brand new black deck hatch it's off of a 93 baja 220/240 but I have a 88 sport 226. I think they will work but I know you guys are pros on here so I want to make sure before I buy it. It's a killer deal but I do t want to get it if it doesn't fit and have to resell it.

I would call Baja and ask. Where are you? I know of a 87 22 sport hatch near me. Comes complete with hull, 454, alpha drive. Guy wanted 2k 4 or 5 years ago. Now I see some of his old cars leaving. I think 1k would get the boat. Near philadelphia.

Which deck hatch? I assumed engine cover. How far is the hatch from you? I guess too far to take the boat to it?

Nope the bow has a ventilation hatch.

The overhead hatch in the cuddy? Get measurements and pics from him. They are pretty universal. And you could always open cut-out a bit for a larger one. That is not a Baja specific part. It is most likely a Bomar. Heck I have 1 behind the house from a 20 foot Regal you can have for the 25 bucks itll cost to ship it..
