Im seriously at my witts end with this boat. Ive been spending more time working on it then using it. You can look at my thread below about rhe stripped fitting
Here is what i have done so far
Replaced the fitting still leaks
Replaced the seal still leaks
Merc adapter plate looks fine no cracks etc.
Motor running it leaks like sive
Motor not running it leaks the oil thats sitting in the cup/plate. If i wipe it clean 5 minutes later there is oil
I seriously dont know what to do other the. Replace the whole dam thing. Pretty sure we wont get it fixed in time for this weekend but i was hoping to have it fixed by next week so i can at least still gon on vacation.

Ok, been down this road, we are talking about the adapter on the block ? what gen block ?, ok checked that part #, for a mark IV BB or small block, the O rings on the bolts can be a big issue that I have run into, they make some that are a sealed washer that help, but on a mark IV block I just use the std filter adapter, a spin on adapter for 1/2npt and rock on..

Its actually a gen 6 block.
I bought a new seal for the fitting. Gonna put it all back together again tonight and try it. If it still leaks. Ill probably order the canton adapter and make new oil lines.
