I recently changed my impeller in my water pump have more water and colder water coming out of the starboard side than the port side temperatures running between 150 and 160 think I got all the pieces out of the hose going from the waterpump to the oilcoiler was wondering why or what to do to correct this problem.

If you've noticed this while it's running on the garden hose it's normal . The same thing happens on my 502 on a hose . To even it up I have to clamp down the stbd line to the exh manifold then it's fine .
You don't get full water pickup unless the boat is in the water .

possibility of a piece of impeller or rust flake blocking the hotter side. just pull both hoses from thermo hsng to the manifolds and make sure they are clear, especially right at the manifold end.

Thanks for info, I actually noticed it while in the water. I'm going to check the hoses for clogs and the thermostat bypass. Thanks again.
