Default 2017 F-450 SRW... interesting tow setup:

If this was white or silver, I'd probably own it already.
2017 Ford F-450 King Ranch | eBay

Only two things I don't like about how it's built:
1) I personally would not need that kind of gearing for towing.
2) I'd rather see the dually bed pulled off of it, and matching fender flares in the rear.
And it would look better with some 20x16 or 22x16 wheels on it, vs the super singles with those universal offsets. But it's built for function, not fashion.

Overall, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with the turning radius on the F-250/F-350 SRW, CC, LB. The lengthened cab/stretched wheelbase of the longbeds in 2017 really, really is a negative detractor in trying to make it a daily driver unless all you do is highway/country driving. The spread axle of the F-450 has a much tighter turning radius, and I've actually considered buying and converting one...
...then I ran across this on eBay.

The motor scares me. I have heard that at 90,000 miles they start having issues.

Agree. Something like this, along with scraping the dually fenders would go a long way.

I think I have heard that about every diesel from someone who is not a fan of the brand.

LOL, this.

That truck isn't my style at all and the gearing is WAY overkill!

so why does the ad say F-450 and the side of the truck says F-550?

I tell you this, ford will stomp all over the d max .. havent got to rip the new 17 motor though .. of course now ive heard theire caught up in the voltswagan scam on theire software .. trucks arnt making regulations . 300 k recalls or something .
