I was recently looking at a 342, too heavy seems to plow alot of water.

What hulls are more efficient/ plow less

Im looking in the 30-36 foot range

The 33ol is one of the fastest hulls, but the 342 is the same hull, but depending on how loaded (galley, gen, water) it may need a lil more trim. Straight bottom boats have to get the bow up.

Depends what amenities your looking for, if you want the genset, etc, then the 342 is it, if not, the 33outlaw is what you need. 02s have higher X so they will be a cpl mph faster with same power.
