I have a Westlake cover for the boat that's good for seasonal storage, but a bit heavy for docking and weekday coverage. I'm looking to see if something lightweight like a stretchy fabric exist so you can just easily slip it on and off for light duty storage. I have Juniper trees nearby and they make a mess in a matter of hours.

You can buy two 20' lightweight (150 denier) polyester boat covers for cheap. Then take them to a seamstress and have him/her cut out a 7 foot long section from one cover and sew it into the other cover. These covers are very thin and light, but work well for keeping out leaves and bird droppings.

If anybody knows where to buy a very lightweight 27' or longer cover I'd love to know about it. I could not find one, so I had to use the above technique.
