Default Stainless Fuel Cap that fits the Formula Fill

Anyone find a stainless slotted or fancy stainless cap that fits the Formula Fill? I can get the factory white plastic cap, but since I painted the boat silver it looks out of place. Plus, the previous owner lost that one and am left with the crappy Perko black plastic part.

The 98 fill was 2" and the cap needs to be 2" in dia to fit, thought this would be an easy thing to find - but is is not standard

Funny, I just purchase a 98 , 312 that has a Perko (I think) stainless slotted gas cap. I am looking to replace this with the factory white cap. When I get a chance I will check to see if I have a part number on it.

Not original but I really like the Accon pop up fuel fill. It is flush until you give it an easy 1/2 turn then it pops up and so that you can grasp the cap and unscrew it. Looks great and you will not stub your toe on it. I have had it on two boats with no problems.

I put a flush mount gas filler on my fastech. Had to open the hole a little larger but very easy and less than one hour job. Also put all flush mount pop up cleats and light on. Even flush mount fuel and water tank vents. The stuff formula puts on is old school ugly. Jeff wurl

Ended up buying a stainless west marine brand cap, threads are the same. Had a friend throw it in the lathe and trimmed the OD from 2 1/16" to 2". Looks great and fit perfect.

Not as fancy as some that are out there, but trial and error was getting old.
