Default pitch change

Hi,

Will Maximus ST prop keep initially efficiency if professional change original pitch from 30" to 28", or if he change original 26" pitch to 28"?
Is it better to buy 28" prop?
Prop is totaly surfaced, shaft is in line with transom.

General rule is pitch can only be changed by 1 inch.
IMO, better off to get a new 28.

First off, short tub is just the stock prop with the diff cut down. It isn't anything special or a new casting.
Best case scenario is to buy the 28.
If you are going to modify one of the others, we would base some of it on the current efficacy or lack there of. Slip %.
We do prefer to only adjust 1 inch of pitch . Blade roots can not be changed.
