I've lost many friends and colleagues over the years in my career. Losing someone you've seen often and know well in an unexpected event takes its toll. It's good Scott and Marc are taking time to take it all on and work on the boat. It's also nice to see the racing community come together for each other and the fans.

It was only 10 minutes or so after Matt posted when I tried to view it. It's working now.

Honoring their commitment to the sponsor is good business. As a witness to the event that damaged their larger boat, I'm glad to hear they are taking time off for the balance of the season. I hope the St Claire Race can weather the loss.

Is jay not throttling for WHM anymore?

Yes he will be driving in an OPA RACE, WHM won't be there no conflict.

I was one of the Patrol Boats that responded shortly after. It was a terrible sight. Loosing Keith and Cat Can Do, will be a HUGE loss/void for the St. Clair race. He was a crowd favorite for sure. Both boats are fan favorites. Hopefully Scott and Mark can work their way through this and make a return to the course in 2018.
