I took my Top Gun up the lake to the marina to haul it out for the season. We had a trouble free season with no major problems at all! 100+ hrs with twin blown 750`s and TRS drives!

WELL, while I was loading it onto the trailer, I blew a drive!!!

The trailer wasn`t in deep enough and I just hammered the throttles and powered her up the trailer. After being real easy on the drives because I know they are the weak link in my set up, I blew it and am so pissed at myself because I know better

So, I am in the market for a good deal on a right hand TRS lower or complete drive. I must have broke a tooth off of the lower pinion gear, there is a 1" crack in the housing.

Any deals on TRS stuff around???

Sorry to hear about that!
At least it lasted the whole season.
You should be able to find a RH TRS pretty easily, try dollar offshore.

Funny, but thats what I did, played with the sled this afternoon!

It`s been such a fun and long season for us up here, I put the Top Gun in the water April 1st!

It`s gonna be a long winter!!!

Only silver lining is that it would have sucked even worse if it happened just after dumping it in next May!

Sounds like you have plenty of options for parts though. If you need me to help with a nice paint job on the replacement, let me know. I've done enough of those by now!

I guess I had better end of the season yesterday than you did! I'm still pumped about how well that prop worked!

It makes me think about how we powered mine up the trailer yesterday too!

Paul, yeah, I am bummed and I just wasn`t thinking I guess I should have taken your advice about not powering onto the trailer!

It was a great season!!!! Waite a min I still have not winterized yet Biggus keep me posted on that deal. Hey Paul I heard the result of that prop and WOW!!!! Two thumbs up man looks like you will be in the 80's next year MINI ME RIDES!!!
